IMPLEMENTATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN UAB „STEEL BRIDGES”

Activity of UAB “STEEL BRIDGES” is manufacturing of metal structures and parts thereof (class 25.11). A more precise description is production of metal structures for bridges, buildings and offshore structures. The company is constantly investing in new technologies, is currently implementing the project IMPLEMENTATION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN UAB "STEEL BRIDGES”, project No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-854-02-0104. The project is implemented under the measure "Industrial digitization LT" financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Up to EUR 419,717.70 of funding has been allocated for the implementation of the project to cover eligible costs. The performed technological audit identified that in order to remain competitive and achieve its long-term goals, UAB "STEEL BRIDGES" must install digital lifting equipment in its production technology, which would help synchronize the technological process of metal construction production, increase lifting capacity, minimize downtime.
These investments will help UAB STEEL BRIDGES to produce products that meet market needs and expand production volumes. The total estimated amount of project investments is EUR 1,198,122.00. The project is planned to be implemented by September 1, 2023.
After the implementation of the project, the company's productivity is expected to more than double, and the increased lifting capacity will significantly increase sales. By performing production processes faster, more flexibly, with higher quality, it will increase operational productivity, company will be able to fulfill larger orders, and expand the range of products.
